Pro-Matrix® Curve Single-Use Matrix Bands are precontoured and help simplify restorative procedures through easier placement and improved visbility. Two sizes and an adjustable band make them an ideal solution for both large and small restorations. Pro-Matrix bands can grab and hold on to teeth with limited support and do a great job of creating a seal at the cervical portion of the tooth. This helps keep the prep clean and dry. These disposable, pre-setup bands are an excellent choice for challenging restorative situations.
The "Curve" Pro-Matrix Bands offer additional benefits over and above the original bands thanks to their pre-contoured design:
- Facilitates the restoration of interproximal anatomical contours and contact areas of the tooth surface
- Creates a smooth external surface to pack the restorative material against, reducing risk of cupping
Additional features include:
- Taper neck makes them easier to place and provides better visibility and reduced obstruction
- Pre-contoured band for tight interproximal contact
- Sliding band deflector creates a band angulation for a tighter fit around the tooth
- Smooth edges for increase patient comfort
